This is not an online retail store open to the public. This members only site allows eligible Michigan schools and nonprofits the opportunity to request books, literacy and learning tools for the sick, needy or youth they serve.
You are eligible for membership if you work in one of the following:
Charter Schools Government Agencies Nonprofit Organizations Church Programs Head Start Nursing Home Correctional Facilities Homeschoolers Private Schools Department of Human Services Hospitals Public Schools Family Independence Agencies Literacy Program Shelters for Abused or Homeless Foster Care Migrant Populations
We do not sell donated items. We do have a small cost recovery fee in place to help defray our costs of procurement, transport, warehousing and distribution. The current base cost recovery fee is only 29 cents per standard item.
Here's just one example of what members have available: Junie B. Jones Is Not a Crook retails for $3.99 each. Our Book Nook members pay only 29 cents (before any special discounts).
Members may choose to pick up their items in Clinton Township, or have the items shipped to a Michigan address for the cost of USPS or UPS shipping.
Members also have the option of participating in special or group purchasing opportunities throughout the year.

Through May 30, we are offering an automatic 20% discount on the annual membership fee.
